Frac Normandie Caen

Frac Normandie is showing Un pour Cent, a film made by artist Matthieu Martin during his residency in the commune of Caumont-sur-Aure.

The film follows the disappearance of the purple beech from the Place Saint Clair in Caumont-sur-Aure, a monumental tree that has stood in the center of the town for over a hundred years, and the attempts of local residents to keep its memory alive.

The work Nachbau, 2024 is now on view for the next 10 days at the corner of the Joachim Str. and Linien Str. in Berlin

I’m glad to have won the open call “Reclaim the City” at the initiative of the Bureau N in Berlin.

The project will be unveiled during the Berlin Art Week 2024 and visible between the 10th and 20th of September
at the corner of the Joachim Str and Linien Str in Berlin-Mitte.

I’m so glad to announce that after 4 years of research my PhD in practice RADIAN is now finished.

On view till Friday March 16th at Musée des Beaux Arts de Caen, inside the “cabinet des arts graphiques”.

I’m delighted to release my first bronze sculpture entitled “Potelet Elysée”, 2021.

“Potelet Elysée” is the first cast bronze sculpture made by Matthieu Martin. It consist of a scaled-down replica of a street bollard like the one installed in the Champs Elysée’s in Paris.

Dans le cadre de mon exposition “Zurück Bleiben” à la galerie Weisser Elephant à Berlin, j’ai eu le plaisir d’accueillir Elma Riza de LayLay_Images production au studio pour discuter de ce projet

L’exposition est visible jusqu’au 6 novembre à la Galerie Weisser Elefant, (Auguststraße 21, 1er étage) à Berlin
