Refresh the revolution is presented in Near Est, an exhibition at Frac Normandie.

Bringing together artists from diverse backgrounds, the exhibition approaches the notion of the East not as a precisely defined territory, but as a mental space — a place of encounters, displacement and possibilities.

The exhibition brings together photography, painting, sculpture, drawing, video and installation, with works by Michel Aubry, Fedora Akimova, Adéla Babanová, Alexandra Bircken, Katinka Bock, François Curlet, Irakli Chkartishvili, Koenraad Dedobbeleer, Damien Deroubaix, Rebekka Deubner, Carolina Dutca, Marcel van Eeden, Leo Fabrizio, Alexis Forestier, Maike Freess, Ryan Gander, Florim Hasani, Jürgen Klauke, Kurt Kranz, Maude Maris, Matthieu Martin, Mathieu Mercier, Nicolas Moulin, Marianne Marić, Hajnal Nemeth, Deimantas Narkevicius, Nelson Pernisco, André Robillard, Jan Saudek, Anne-Marie Schneider, Valentin Sidorenko, Jana Sterbak, Wolf Vostell, SLAVS AND TATARS and KUBACH-WILMSEN.

Near Est is part of the Frac Normandie’s Géographie des ailleurs season and is presented with the participation of Frac Alsace.
